My introduction to field biology began with an interest in photography. I began observing the world around me a lot keenly when I started shooting pictures of insects in my backyard in high school. What started as an aimless documentation of the natural world soon turned into an obsession and helped foster my interest in natural history. I still try to document life all around me and photography has been an indispensable tool in my pursuit to understand the natural world and my interest in science!
